GEM – Goes the Extra Mile
Every Quarter, one nurse from each office is recognized for being extraordinary. These nurses show exemplary qualities and professionalism.
Saddle Brook: Nathalie Hyppolite LPN, Dina Nonez LPN and Marie Jerome LPN : This quarter we wanted to recognize not one, but three special ladies! This team of nurses worked with two clients, siblings, during the peak of the pandemic. While the family struggled with a COVID related crisis, these nurses stepped up to ensure the children did not miss any of the care and nurturing they are used to. They worked all hours of the day in full head to toe PPE, sometimes having to rearrange their own schedules to help with last minute coverage. Nathalie, Dina and Marie were truly the foundation that held this family together during one of the most difficult times in their lives. They are greatly appreciated and we are so proud to call them part of our team.
Mount Laurel: Kellee Williams, LPN: Kellee has been an employee at Star Pediatrics for over 2 years. Kellee started her LPN career with Star Pediatrics and has been eager to learn new skills. She is now working with our most fragile pediatric patients. Kellee is flexible, ambitious and loved by her patients. Her kind heart, patience and compassion make her a great Pediatric Home Care Nurse. Star Pediatrics is honored to have Kellee Williams as our GEM!!!! Kellee surely Goes the Extra Mile on a daily basis. Thank you Kellee, for the dedicated, excellent nursing care that you provide to our patients.
Lakewood: Patrick Knox, LPN: Congratulations on being named our Star Gem of the Quarter. Patrick has been with our Lakewood team for 2 years. He is an outstanding nurse with years of nursing experience in varying settings. He is a dedicated, no-nonsense nurse who will go out of his way for his clients and advocate for them 100% of the time. We wish him continued success in his personal life and career here at Star!
