First Quarter GEMS
We hope everyone enjoyed this winter season, as we are now welcoming spring with open arms! Another quarter has passed, Star Pediatrics would like to honor a few exceptional nurses that have gone above and beyond this quarter. We are honoring three Star nurses from each office this quarter who genuinely embody the essence of what it takes to be a Star nurse. We are very lucky and blessed to have them be apart of our team!
Saddle Brook GEM: Wendy S. LPN
Our GEM nurse at our Saddlebrook office is Wendy S! Wendy is an outstanding homecare nurse. She works enthusiastically and is a very reliable person. Wendy has been a Star nurse for many years. Her dedication and love for her patients is always evident. Wendy goes above and beyond to ensure her clients are well cared for. Our agency really appreciates all her hard work. Congratulations and thank you, Wendy! We admire you!
Mount Laurel GEM: Tanairi M. LPN
Congratulations to Tanairi on being awarded Mount Laurel’s first Quarterly GEM. Tanairi is such a kind nurse, and her work ethic is remarkable as well. She is a compassionate nurse who genuinely cares about her patients. Her dedication to the organization and her hard work are much appreciated. Tanairi is a true representation of what a GEM nurse should be. It is a privilege to have her on our team. Thank you, Tanairi and congratulations!

Congratulations to Marlee, our GEM of the quarter at our Howell office! When we think of a nurse who embodies being a GEM, we think of Marlee. Office News
Saddle Brook
At our Saddlebrook office, we have a promotion in order! Amy V. has been a nurse with us for a while now, and she is now joining as a new Clinical Manager on our clinical management team. We’re looking forward to her growth at Star Pediatrics.
Mount Laurel
Congratulations to our Clinical Manager, Ashley, on the expected arrival of her baby girl. We had fun celebrating Ashley and baby, and we wish them all the best! We can’t wait to see pictures of the new addition to the Star family.
Howell
We are happy to be hosting student Nurses from Lincoln Tech to our Howell office each semester. The visits take place during their Pediatric clinical and is part of their curriculum. The students spend the day learning about pediatric home care in general, with a focus on Tracheostomies, Gastrostomy and Nasal Gastric tube feedings. The students and their instructors have an opportunity to perform GT & NGT insertions in our classroom setting and encourage each other as they learn a new skill. We hope to continue to foster an interest in Pediatric Home Care, so they’ll pursue a career here at Star when they pass their NCLEX.
Also, wishing Brittany T. and Rena K. congratulations on their beautiful new babies!
